Phoenix Players will be putting on a production of ‘Don’t Mention the Dream‘ on Wednesday 30th May at Tiddington Community Centre. Directed by Lynda Jepson ‘Don’t Mention the Dream‘ is about a meeting of a Drama group to decide their next play. Unfortunately they are thin on the ground and while one of them wants to produce ‘A Midsummer Nights Dream’ another member is totally against it. To add to the problem they are shut in the village hall and unable to leave!
The play features two Phoenix ‘old hands’ Steph Jepson and Carlyn McHugh and two ‘new-comers’ in Nick Johnson and Danni Burridge who is only 13 years of age; this is her first AmDram play.
This is one of three one-act plays on the night all of which are entered into the Lighthorne Festival of One Act Plays in June. The three performance on the night are: –
